I’m am currently finishing up my final semester in the Clinical Exercise Physiology M.S. program in the HHP Department here at the University of Iowa. I’m from Ankeny, Iowa and I completed my undergraduate degree in 2019 with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.

Over the previous four semesters I have been a TA in the HHP Department for both Human Anatomy and Physical Activity & Health courses. I’ve loved having the opportunity to work with so many wonderful undergraduate students, fellow TA’s, and instructors alike.

In addition to my responsibilities as a student and TA, I love spending my free time staying active, especially through a good game of tennis! I have also loved being able to explore so many new restaurants and café’s with my fellow HHP graduate students during my time here in Iowa City.

The opportunities HHP has to offer are more than enough to pull you in, and it’s no secret that there are so many amazing people within the department that make HHP such a great place to be!
