Matt joined the University of Iowa in 2018 as an Assistant Director of Sport Programs in Recreational Services. Prior to working at Iowa, Matt held a similar position in collegiate recreation with Centers, LLC at Marshall University. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Truman State University followed by a master's degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois University. Outside of work, Matt enjoys officiating both Baseball and Basketball. He is active in officiating games at the high school and collegiate levels and currently serves as the Iowa City Athletic Officials Association's Vice President.
