Lecturer/Internship Program Director Position

The Department of Health and Human Physiology at The University of Iowa invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (instructional faculty track) appointment for the academic year 2019-20, beginning January 2020 and renewable for a total of three years (2019-2022) and renewable thereafter in three year increments. The preferred start date is January 15, 2020. Duties of this position will include didactic teaching and overseeing a new experiential learning program.  Applications are sought from candidates with a demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching in the areas of health administration, health management, worksite professionalism, and leadership. Duties of this position include teaching, service to the department, and professional development.

Education Required:

Minimum of a Master’s degree in health administration, health management, health services, health systems, health policy, public health, business administration or related field in hand by the start date. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous practical and/or teaching experience in health management, health administration, or related field

Desirable Qualifications
