The Department of Health & Human Physiology (HHP) provides a number of options for students with career interests in the health professions, health-related fields, and biomedical research. HHP offers five undergraduate degrees and several areas of graduate study. Watch a video that follows the Sport and Recreation Management program during its January 2017 field trip to Milwaukee. Students participated in educational sessions and networking with industry leaders from the Milwaukee Bucks, Brewers, and Admirals and took tours of four sport facilities.
Since graduating in May, Emily has started a position in the Center for Disease Control’s Public Health Associate Program (PHAP). PHAP is a two-year paid (including all federal benefits) training with CDC. Associates in the program are placed all over the country at local, state, and non-profit public health agencies.
