If you're looking to flex your GIS muscle a bit more, gain some hands-on experience in "real world" projects, or simply get your internship credit (GEOG majors) out of the way... let us invite you to join ICIGO (Iowa Community Integrated Geography Organization)! 

The goal of this group (which can be taken for credit as an independent study credit with Adam Skibbe) is to tackle projects requested by various community groups, and which often focus on sustainability, community, and equity issues.  At present, Adam will have several projects he needs students help with this Spring semester so please, if you're interested, or have questions email Adam Skibbe at adam-skibbe@uiowa.edu.
