Congratulations to geography graduate students Oronde Drakes, Brandon MacDougall, and Asif Rahman!

The three will compete in the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Finals on November 2nd from 3:00-5:00pm in Art Building West Room 240.

All are encouraged to attend and cheer on Oronde, Brandon, and Asif as our department makes up three of the ten finalists! Their 3MT titles: 

• Oronde Drakes, "Flooding and Suffering in America"
• Brandon MacDougall, "Camera Trapping for Urban Biodiversity Conservation" 
• Asif Rahman, "Social Vulnerability to River Floods in the U.S." 

We would also like to congratulate geography graduate students Hoeyun Kwon, Barbara Kagima and Kangsan Lee on their hard work and dedication throughout the Three-Minute Thesis competition!
