I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. I earned my BA from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, double majoring in Biology and Anthropology. During my undergraduate experience, I conducted independent research on both insect community ecology and agroecology. I am now pursuing a MA within the Geographical and Sustainability Sciences department at the University of Iowa.
My research interests include avian wildlife ecology, urban ecology, migration ecology, and climate change ecology. At the University of Iowa, I am conducting research on raptor urban ecology.
