Bio:

I am a medical geographer pursuing a Ph.D. degree in geography. I obtained my B.S. in geographical science at Wuhan University, China, and my M.A. in geography here at the University of Iowa. My research interests center on infectious diseases, human-disease interactions. In my research, I utilize genetic information of pathogens to reconstruct their evolutionary histories and examine the patterns in relation to human ecological landscapes.
