GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Adjunct Instructor – Fayette, IA

Upper Iowa University is seeking applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty member in Geographic Information Systems/Geography to teach face-to-face on the Fayette campus. A minimum of master’s degree, including 18 graduate hours in GIS or related coursework, is required. Relevant GIS work experience and/or teaching experience may substitute for some graduate hours. Courses will be taught using ESRI ArcGIS. Expectations are teaching one or two sections of GEOG356 Introduction to GIS, face-to-face two days per week at Fayette in Spring 2018. The university schedules courses in 8-week sessions; at least one section of this course must be taught January-March, the second section could be scheduled March-May.
