Douglasville – Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority is a seeking a full-time GIS Developer to evaluate, maintain and enhance existing programs. They may also be responsible for designing and
deploying new applications. The selected applicant will be responsible for development and installation of upcoming work management software that utilizes the GIS platform. They will also be responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing GIS systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Design, build, or maintain Web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation
tools, management tools, and digital media.
• Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is
compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Design or prepare graphic representations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data, using
GIS hardware or software applications.
• Analyze Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data to identify spatial relationships or display
results of analyses, using maps, graphs, or tabular data.
• Provide technical support to users or clients regarding the maintenance, development, or
operation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, equipment, or applications.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Programming/application development experience.
• Esri ArcGIS Desktop and Server 10x.
• Esri ArcSDE versioned geodatabase development.
• Experience with industry-standard technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, HTML5.
• Java/Javascript development experience.
• Experience using T-SQL and SQL.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with the Citiworks Platform.
• Esri Geoevent Processor.
• Esri Portal / ArcGIS Online/Web App Builder.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Geography
