Position Description
Community Energy is seeking an Associate to work with the Community Energy Ventures team, a new ventures unit led by the founders of Community Energy. Primary work will involve investigating broader global trends and opportunities in the clean energy transition, new clean energy technologies, and grid system models for power sector decarbonization in the next decade.  The research and analysis form the basis for industry and policy presentations and business plan development.  There is significant room for growth in the expanding field of clean energy.

The position is based in the Boulder, CO area and will work principally from home with the ability to work from an office as needed once the office opens back up.

Qualifications:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (with High G.P.A. or Honors) in STEM or business
• Superior research, analytical and quantitative abilities
• Demonstrated interest in and experience with energy and innovation
• Professional presence and strong communication skills
• Self-directed with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
