Justin began his geological career as a Logging Geologist based out of Anchorage, Alaska. After a few years in the industry, he chose to further his education with the aim of better reaching his professional goals. During his time at Northern Illinois University, Justin’s research focused on using sedimentology and sequence stratigraphic modeling to interpret the behavior of the Antarctic Ice Sheet during Late Miocene times. After completing his M.S., Justin worked as a Scientist for the Engineering Consulting industry based out of the greater Chicagoland area. Justin’s research interests are basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, sedimentological analyses, geologic mapping, and detrital geochronology.
