Undergraduate News:
- Rebecca Schaff (Chinese) has been awarded a Presidental Scholarship for Study Abroad. She will be studying at Beijing University, China this summer.

Graduate Student News:
- Alfredo Duplat, Marcus Palmer, and Tania Pérez-Cano (Spanish & Portuguese) have been awarded a T. Anne Clearly International Dissertation Research Fellowship for the 2011-2012 academic year.
- Anna Kolenikova (FLARE, Russian) will defend her dissertation on Wednesday, May 18, 9:00-11:00am in 315 PH. They dissertation is entitled “Effects of Computer-Delivered Grammar Instruction”. Dissertation defenses are public events and all are invited to attend.
