Anna is a Ph.D. student in the Second Language Acquisition program and a Teaching Assistant in the Department of French and Italian at the University of Iowa. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Theory and Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures (with the focus on linguistics, English, and French) from Moscow State Linguistic University and an M.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa. She has teaching experience in English as a foreign language, French, and Russian. Her research interests lie in the areas of second language assessment, second language writing, online teaching and learning. In her free time, Anna enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, doing zumba and yoga.
