DEO workshop on public engagement - “Public engagement: What is it really, and how will it help my department?”
On September 25, 2017, CLAS is offering a workshop on the scope and goals of public engagement activities supported by the UI’s Strategic Plan and the Carnegie Communication Engagement Classification.
The workshop, held in conjunction with the Office of the Provost, will discuss the criteria and parameters of publicly engaged scholarship and teaching as well as ideas for incorporating these activities into promotion, tenure and merit reviews.
All interested DEOs, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
