NSF I-CORPS WORKSHOP
NOW ENROLLING!
Funding from the NIH and other federal agencies is becoming more competitive. The NSF I-Corps workshop is designed to provide UI faculty, staff, and students with the opportunity to further develop marketable ideas to make an impact. Our training programs have been shown to greatly increase the likelihood of receiving grants from federal agencies.  

RAISE FUNDING TO TAKE YOUR INNOVATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL
NSF I-Corps gives participants an introduction to the National NSF I- Corps program, and immediate access to a $1,000 grant to help you bring your idea to life. This workshop is taught by experienced entrepreneurs from the health care, technology, software, and biomedical fields. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants are encouraged to apply to the national NSF I-Corps Team program to have the opportunity to receive an additional $50,000 in funding.

EXAMPLES OF HOW YOUR $1,000 IN FUNDING CAN BE USED
- Attending a conference (travel expenses, meeting registration fees)
- Equipment or materials for prototypes and other prototyping expenses
- Resources needed to directly advance the goals of transitioning your project into the marketplace
