The CLAS General Education Curriculum Committee invites all interested instructors to an informational session on the process for proposing courses that will satisfy the new Sustainability requirement in the GE CLAS Core.

We are especially interested in proposals for new or existing courses that integrate GE Sustainability outcomes with these areas: Quantitative or Formal Reasoning; Historical Perspectives; International and Global Issues; Literary, Visual, and Performing Arts; and Values and Culture.

Proposals will next be reviewed during the Spring 2023 semester. The deadline to submit proposals for Summer or Fall 2023 GE status is January 17, 2023. Late proposals are accepted, though notice to jennifer-eimers@uiowa.edu that a proposal will be late is appreciated.
