Hi everyone,

This is just a friendly reminder that our SWOT documents are due to the Strategic Plan Sharepoint site this Friday.  The site is here -- https://iowa.sharepoint.com/sites/clas/DeansOffice/CLAS%20Strategic%20Planning%20Process/Forms/AllItems.aspx.  Then you just click on the Working Documents folder, then the Departments folder, then the folder for your own unit, and then click finally on the SWOT Submission folder and move your file to the spot that reads “Drag files here.”

Note that there are two folders that you will see when you enter the folder for your own unit – a Goals Submission folder and the SWOT Submission folder.  The Goals Submission folder is for later – when we submit our Departmental Strategic Plan Goals document on December 13.  But it might be helpful to keep in mind that we will be able to generate a lot of the Goals document from our SWOT analysis – for example from the Weaknesses that we will try to tackle, the Opportunities that we will pursue, the Strengths on which we plan to build, and the Threats that we will work to confront and/or avoid.
