This year, CLAS will be unveiling a new way to celebrate our faculty and their many accomplishments by creating a Faculty Honors website that will replace the in-person celebration event that was held pre-pandemic. The challenges these last few years posed in terms of gathering in large groups gave us an opportunity to reevaluate how we can make the most of our academic achievements.  By creating an online home for this information, it will also give us the ability to celebrate and share our faculty achievements far and wide. The site will feature recent accomplishments and we will start by acknowledging awardees since the pandemic began and work up to the present.

To prepare for this, we need your assistance. If you have received an award or other recognition for achievements in teaching, scholarship, artistic production, or service, please send the name and source of the award by April 5, 2022 to clas@uiowa.edu. Please be sure to copy your DEO on the email so they also have a record of your award.
