Sharing our Stories: Women Leaders at Iowa - Present and Future

A three-part series to celebrate Women’s History Month

We have designed a program to take advantage of our cadre of women leaders and to make space for considering personal leadership journeys. We are all leaders, whether we have positional power or not. Engaging in the process, preparing to take the reins, or simply recognizing and celebrating your worth makes who we are and what we do a benefit to all.

We encourage you to attend these sessions as you are able. You will only need to register for the final session, which will be in person, and we will provide lunch.

Crafting and Sharing our Leadership Stories

This session provides an opportunity to connect with other women faculty and to share your own leadership stories. Amy Colbert will provide some prompts to help you identify the key aspects of your leadership journey thus far and the ways that you hope to have an impact in the future. You’ll share your stories in small groups and have a chance to build the connections (whether face-to-face or virtually) that we’ve all come to value from the Faculty Women’s Symposium.
