In Spring 2021, CLAS Faculty Assembly and the Office of the Provost approved a new requirement in Sustainability to be added to the CLAS Core General Education Program (see this link) that will begin for students starting in Summer 2022.

We are looking forward to working with instructors who would like to propose courses for this new requirement. The CLAS General Education Curriculum Committee will begin to review proposals for General Education status in sustainability in mid-September 2021.

We invite all interested instructors to an informational session on the process for proposing courses that will satisfy the new Sustainability requirement in the CLAS Core General Education program.
