We would like to remind all faculty and DEOs that in accordance with the Operations Manual: https://opsmanual.uiowa.edu/human-resources/leaves-absence/campus-assignments, all faculty trips lasting over three weeks taken during the semester must first be approved by the DEO and then forwarded to the Dean’s office with a justification. This policy applies to all faculty who are not on unpaid leave or PDA even if they do not have a teaching assignment or teach all of their classes online. Please be sure that the faculty in your departments are aware of and follow the policy.
