With the end of Fall 2019 Early Registration, this is an ideal time to begin reviewing enrollments.  Upper-level undergraduate courses that are low (and won’t be of interest to incoming graduate students) should be canceled.  Teaching staff for the canceled courses can be redeployed in many cases to assist with courses having large waitlists.  Orientation sessions for incoming students will run through July 3.  A recommended report in Campus Data is Instructional Capacity – Matching Section Offerings to Demand.  Please contact Marlys Boote (marlys-boote@uiowa.edu 319-335-2043) with any questions.
