As we return to in-person teaching this fall, the following software licenses will also revert to their pre-pandemic status since the UI expectation is that in-person courses will offer exams in a classroom.

  • Respondus Monitor, the proctoring module of Respondus Lockdown Browser, will be available only for those teaching virtual courses that were scheduled online due to their larger enrollments.
  • Likewise, the use of Proctorio as an exam proctoring tool will return to being limited to courses offered through Distance and Online Learning, with the UI license for this tool returning to limited use.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud also will revert to its pre-pandemic status, with students needing to access Creative Cloud in a UI computer lab, ensuring sufficiently powerful computers to provide a satisfactory student experience. Students may also buy Creative Cloud on their own for a discounted price at Adobe.
