The Finkbine Dinner Committee invites nominations of a CLAS faculty member to receive one of the prestigious Hancher-Finkbine Medallions. For faculty nominations colleges rotate each year with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences every four years because of the large number of faculty in that college. This is an opportunity to recognize a faculty member whose hard work has made a significant contribution to the UI Community, specifically surrounding Learning - Leadership - Loyalty. More information on the award criteria is available here. All full-time tenured faculty and clinical faculty are eligible. Non-tenured faculty, teaching assistants, visitors, and part-time faculty are not eligible.

Recipients will be honored at the 102nd Finkbine Dinner, to be held this year on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019, in the Main Lounge of the IMU. The Hancher-Finkbine Medallions were established in 1964 to recognize learning, leadership, and loyalty. More information about the dinner can be found here.

The deadline for submitting nominations is Wednesday, February 20th, 2019.

Nomination forms including procedures and criteria are available here.
