Please review the following information provided by Teresa Marshall, President of Faculty Senate.

This is a reminder that the Faculty Senate is inviting nominations for the Michael J. Brody Award for Faculty Excellence in Service to the University and the State of Iowa. Each year this award honors 1-3 faculty members for their exceptionally dedicated and imaginative service contributions to the University or its external constituencies. Faculty may be nominated by faculty, staff, students, or off-campus constituents. This is one of the highest honors we offer faculty; it was created by faculty, for faculty, and is awarded in memory of Professor Michael J. Brody.

Please visit the Faculty Senate website, https://faculty-senate.uiowa.edu/faculty-awards/michael-j-brody-award, for information about the award, nomination criteria, and a description of the nomination process.

Please consider nominating a colleague for exceptional service. Nominations are due Friday, March 4.  Contact Laura Zaper (laura-zaper@uiowa.edu) with questions.

Additionally, the CLAS Dean’s Office would like to be aware of any nominations from our college. If you are making a nomination, please email Gabriella McDermott (gabriella-mcdermott@uiowa.edu) with the name of your nominee.
