OpenHawks OER Grant Program
I wanted to let you know about internal grant funding that may be of interest.
OpenHawks is an Open Educational Resources (OER) grant program that provides faculty and teaching assistants with funding for adopting, remixing, or creating open textbooks and other free and openly licensed educational materials. Grants range from $500 to $10,000.
Overview and helpful links:
- The application deadline is April 28, 2023.
- In the last four years, OpenHawks has funded over 50 OER projects across a broad range of disciplines. We’ve saved students over $1 million to date. Read more about the OpenHawks projects that received funding in 2022-2023.
- There is an informational webinar scheduled for Wednesday, March 22, at noon. If you cannot make this time the webinar will be recorded and posted on the OpenHawks website.
