As you know, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences reviews the undergraduate requirements in the General Education (GE) CLAS Core around every four to five years.

Based on the latest GE CLAS Core review begun in Fall 2019, the CLAS GE Review Committee, the Undergraduate Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee, and the General Education Curriculum Committee have recommended the addition of a GE requirement in Sustainability.

Faculty Assembly will discuss the GE addition on March 31 at its monthly meeting, also making a recommendation to the College about the matter. The related GE proposal may be found at this link.
