ACLS has launched the 2022 competition of the ACLS Leading Edge program.

Leading Edge Fellowships place recent PhDs in two-year fellowship positions at organizations tackling significant social issues: from the care crisis and voting rights access to the racially disparate impacts of youth sentencing and policing on communities of color.

The application requests a résumé, cover letter, professional references, and an application questionnaire. (No reference letters are required at this time.) Fellows receive stipends of $62,500 in the first year, and $65,000 in the second, plus health insurance and professional development funding. Fellowships begin in September 2022. The application deadline is March 28, 2022, 9pm EDT.

Please visit https://www.acls.org/programs/leading-edge/ for complete project descriptions, eligibility criteria, and application information. Interested applicants are also invited to attend a webinar on the program and application process on March 3 at 1pm ET.

Questions about the program may be addressed to leadingedge@acls.org.
