The required insert for the syllabus containing CLAS information and policies for undergraduate students has been revised. These changes include a clearer statement on student attendance and absences, with the items put into alphabetical order. The heading “Electronic Communication” was also updated.

If a Fall 2019 syllabus has already been submitted to the DEO for review with the previous insert attached, it is not necessary to add this revised version.

We do hope, however, that departments and programs will use this version of the syllabus insert for Spring 2020.
