As you know, the Registrar’s Course Library is the permanent repository for campus-wide courses. Before a course appears on the MyUI schedule, it must exist in the MAUI Course Library.

Revisions to courses appearing on the Course Schedule must be made before the schedule’s publication in MyUI.

  • The Spring and Summer 2023 schedules will be published on Monday, October 3, 2022.
  • Winter 2022 courses will be published on August 8, 2022.
  • Faculty are strongly encouraged to review their course numbers, course cross-listings, titles, semester hours, prerequisites, grading types, and the related Catalog description before publication of the Course Schedule.
  • The MyUI publication dates change from semester to semester but may be found on the Registrar’s Academic Calendar or at this page: https://www.maui.uiowa.edu/maui/registrar/courses/planner/dashboard.page.
  • After publication in MyUI, revisions to courses being offered are rarely approved; forms will be made effective for the following semester or session.
  • If an emergency exists concerning a revision, please contact Jennifer Eimers directly requesting an exception to the deadline.

Visit this page for additional information about making changes to courses: https://clas.uiowa.edu/faculty/adding-revising-and-dropping-courses.

Please see this June 8 DEO memo about rationale guidelines in the workflow form.
