Please join us at an introductory meeting for the CLAS Committee on Sustainability and the Environment (CSE) in 302 Schaeffer Hall from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday April 20 where snacks, discussion, and a preview of the CSE website will be available.  CSE is looking for volunteers (students, staff, and faculty) within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences who are committed to environmental priorities, in study and in practice that will benefit the university and the Iowa City area community in multiple ways. 

The goal of CSE is to provide information and awareness for growing environmental concerns.  Recognizing the importance of action as well as education, the CSE strives to promote collegiate and university sustainability and to foster environmental education by working with relevant partners to ensure that people in all sectors of our community have access to environmental education that is rich, meaningful, and relevant to their needs.
