Please join us on Monday, November 12 for our penultimate Classics Colloquium of the Fall! Oded Lipschits, Head of Ancient Israel Studies at Tel Aviv University, will be giving a talk titled “Modern Archaeology: New Methods and Discoveries that Help Us Better Understand the Biblical World" at 7:00pm in 100 Phillips Hall.

In this lecture, Professor Oded Lipschits, Director, Sonia & Marco Nadler Institute of Archaeology & Professor of Jewish History at Tel Aviv University in Israel will discuss the latest archaeological methods & technologies he uses at the excavation he directs, the Lautenschläger Azekah Expedition, that assist in shedding greater light on the biblical world.
