The Cinematic Arts Colloquium Choreographing Queer and Black: Research, Strategies, and Realness
Join us next Friday, November 30th, for a presentation by Christopher-Rasheem McMillan. McMillian is a performance related artist and scholar in the Departments of Dance and Gender, Women’s & Sexuality Studies at the University of Iowa. His talk will investigate how Practice as Research (PAR) frameworks open new possibilities for public queer art practices and knowledge production.
The presentation will be part artist talk, part lecture, and part demonstration.
This event is free and open to the public.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in the program, please contact Christopher Goetz (firstname.lastname@example.org) in advance.
