Assistant Professor

The Department of Political Science at the University of Iowa has an opening for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a focus in quantitative methods in Political Science.  The Department welcomes applications from candidates in any subfield, particularly those with strong mathematical, statistical, or computational modeling skills.  Candidates must be able to teach introductory and advanced graduate quantitative methods courses.  The appointment begins in August 2015, and requires that a Ph.D. be received by August 19, 2015.  The review of applicants will begin on September 15, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled.
