Art Prof Daniel Miller's artwork to be featured in prestigious international symposium in Hong Kong

University of Iowa Professor Daniel Miller's new artwork, titled “Ouroboros,” was selected for inclusion in the prestigious juried exhibition at the 22nd International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA) 2016 Hong Kong Cultural R>evolution.

From the ISEA website:

“ISEA is one of the world’s most prominent international arts and technology events, bringing together scholarly, artistic, and scientific domains in an interdisciplinary discussion and showcase of creative productions applying new technologies in art, interactivity, and electronic and digital media.”

ISEA2016 will take place at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, China. The exhibition for ISEA2016 Hong runs from May 16 to May 23, 2016.

Miller is an assistant professor of emerging technologies in Dimensional Practice/Sculpture in the School of Art & Art History, part of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He is also a member of the Public Digital Arts faculty cluster at the UI.


The University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers about 70 majors across the humanities; fine, performing and literary arts; natural and mathematical sciences; social and behavioral sciences; and communication disciplines.
