The University of Iowa Alumni Association is seeking speaker submissions for its Lifelong Learning series, an enrichment program that allows UI faculty and distinguished graduates to share their knowledge, expertise, and passion.
Lifelong Learning reaches hundreds of alumni and friends across the state. Last year’s sessions drew more than 1,500 attendees. Past events include the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Alumni Fellows awards ceremony and panel discussion; a civil rights discussion led by History Adjunct Lecturer and UI archivist David McCartney, and an “Autumn Star Party” presentation by Physics & Astronomy Professor Randall McEntaffer.
The UIAA will accept speaker proposals through Friday, June 19, 2015 via online submission form. All are encouraged to speak this link with faculty or staff members or alumni whom may be excellent candidates for the outreach program.
