Marc Armstrong, Professor and CLAS Collegiate Fellow Invited to Participate in a National Science Foundation

Marc Armstrong, Professor and CLAS Collegiate Fellow; was invited to participate in a National Science Foundation workshop held in Arlington, VA on 26 and 27 February.  As specified in the materials circulated before the workshop, it was convened to “identify the benefits and challenges in reconciling the same or similar approaches taken across traditional disciplines associated with the Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics (MMS) Program, to understand the reaches of this broad community, and to explore current and future methodological developments affecting interacting disciplines.” The constituent disciplines include: Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Social Science Statistics, and Sociology and several representatives from each discipline were in attendance.
