The CLAS Student Academic Standards Committee considers student petitions for exceptions to the rules, regulations, and requirements of the College. The College's Manual of Policy and Procedure, Article X, Section X.5, describes the Student Academic Standards Committee and its duties in more detail.

The Student Academic Standards Committee is chaired by Cornelia Lang, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education.
