Weekday Office Hours.  Support is provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but it's generally best to schedule an appointment.

After Hours & Emergency Support. After hours support is available by advance request. Emergency on-call support by phone is usually available on weekday evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities. Areas of responsibility include the following:

  • After-Hours Support. Offering technical support outside of normal hours of operation.
  • Audio Learning Lab and Cluster. Provding computer support and ongoing system maintenace of two Linux-based servers and two networked Windows workstation-consoles for instructor use.
  • Concierge Services. Though not a primary responsibility, during events, it's sometimes helpful to have additional support for the needs of visiting guests.
  • Digital Signage. Communicating with multiple departments on campus for the purpose of developing ongoing visual media resources for LMC digital signage.
  • Event Promotion. Promoting language learning and cultural events.
  • Global Support Services. Providing 24-hour multi-time-zone transcontinental technical support services for faculty and staff who are traveling. Support is available via e-mail, Skype, phone, and remote system login.
  • Media Library & Circulation. Providing computer support and ongoing system maintenace of database server and five client workstations for circulation.
  • Multimedia Development Studio. Responsible for facility oversight, user support, system updates, software upgrades, support document development, and maintenace of all multimedia equipment.
  • Music Composition. For projects requiring music, such as video production, music scores can be custom tailored to your project.
  • Photography Services. Providing professional photography services for division events as well as faculty and staff needs.
  • Video on Demand. Producing videos of division events and posting them online.
  • Video Services. Recording, editing, and producing video for delivery via DVD and the web. 
  • Website Content for LMC. Maintaining the Language Media Center website including the posting of videos and related material for division events. Collaborating with Becky Bohde on website management and content posting.
  • Website Services. Offering faculty, staff, and graduate students support and training for website design and development.
