Our faculty offer courses in an exciting range of world languages—Arabic, French, Italian, and Swahili—and we offer an equally exciting range of study abroad opportunities in France, Italy, Morocco, Africa, and Quebec. We offer courses (including courses taught in English) in the literatures, film, and cultures of France, Italy, and French-speaking areas of Africa, Asia, and Canada. We have strong ties to departments that offer courses in the history and art of France, Italy, and Africa.
