2012 Working at Iowa survey results

Almost 72 percent of eligible College of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty and staff participated in the 2012 Working at Iowa survey, surpassing the UI participation rate of about 67 percent. Thanks to all who participated! Your willingness to share your perspectives is greatly appreciated.

These data will be used in future surveys as a baseline to assess trends over time and help to create a working environment that supports and nurtures all of our faculty and staff.

Dean Djalali has asked the College's DEOs to carefully review their departmental results, compare them to CLAS and UI responses, and consider what follow-up actions are appropriate given the survey results. Some areas have been grouped together to ensure a minimum number of respondents (15). Departmental/unit results (including the Dean's Office) will be shared with faculty and staff.
